1. Tableau

The French tableau vivant — “living picture” — names a single held moment of action. In dramatic practice, a tableau is that instant frozen on stage or on screen: bodies arranged, motion suspended, so the audience can read a whole situation in one fixed frame.

In this series, Tableau is the first craft marker: capturing one still image of the world before anything moves.
